Welcome to Southside. These policies outline how we operate in-store and online to ensure a safe, transparent, and fair experience for all customers.

  1. General Terms

By purchasing from Southside (in-store or online), you agree to our store policies, including warranty conditions, returns, safety requirements, and terms of use. Please review these policies before purchasing or using any e-rideable.

  1. Product Use & Safety
  • All e-scooters and e-rideables must be used in accordance with Western Australian laws and regulations.
  • Riders are responsible for ensuring they meet age requirements, follow speed limits, and use permitted pathways.
  • Helmets are strongly recommended and may be legally required.
  • Misuse, illegal use, or unsafe riding may void warranty and support.
  1. Returns & Exchanges

Change of Mind

Change-of-mind returns are not accepted.

Faulty or Damaged Items

  • If your item is faulty or damaged on arrival, please contact us within 48 hours.
  • We may require photos, video, or an inspection to confirm the issue.
  • Items deemed faulty under warranty will be repaired, replaced, or refunded according to Australian Consumer Law.
  1. Warranties

All products come with a manufacturer warranty, the specifics of which may vary by brand.

Warranty covers manufacturing defects, not wear and tear or damage caused by:

  • accidents or collisions
  • water exposure beyond the product’s rating
  • neglect or lack of maintenance
  • unauthorised modifications or repairs

Warranty claims must be assessed by Southside or an authorised service technician.

  1. Shipping & Delivery (for online orders)
  • Orders are processed within 1–3 business days.
  • Delivery times depend on location and courier service.
  • Tracking information will be provided when available.
  • Southside is not responsible for courier delays or missed deliveries.

Shipping Damage
If your delivery arrives damaged:

  • Contact us within 48 hours with photos of the packaging and product.
  • Keep all packaging until the claim is resolved.
  1. Click & Collect

Click & Collect orders can be picked up in-store once a confirmation email or message has been sent.

ID and proof of purchase may be required.

  1. Payments

We accept major payment methods in-store and online, including:

  • EFTPOS
  • Credit/Debit Cards
  • Afterpay
  • Zip Pay
  • Online Payment Gateways (e.g., PayPal, Stripe, etc. if used)

Payments must be fully processed before orders are shipped or collected.
